Team Nasamax was created to demonstrate the huge potential for bio-fuels in the automotive industry. Using 100% bio-ethanol fuel Nasamax led the way for renewable fuel use in international motorsport. The Nasamax prototype was not only the world’s first car to enter and complete the 24 hours of Le Mans using a renewable fuel but also was the fastest car of all on the famous Mulsanne straight and had the most powerful engine in the 50 strong field proving that you do not have to be slow to be ‘green’.
